DANIEL JAMES MATTIMORE AGE 39, OF Hudson passed away at his mothers home on June 2, 2015. Daniel is the reigning 2004 Pasco County Male Country Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. He is also the North American Country Music Association's 2004 winner of the Horizon Award in the Country Duo category that he shared with Miss Tammy Gail in Pigeon Forge Tennesee. His music accomplishments were endless and he recorded his first CD in 2005 on a compilation disk with Tammy Gail and Steve Scott and Tyler Dickerson. Daniel also performed at an opening show with his duo partner Tammy Gail for Country Music Artist David Lee Murphy in Martin County Florida. Daniel loved spending his free time with friends , singing karaoke in local bars, and mudding somewhere in his jeep or truck. He loved Ohio State Football and was an avid Gator Football hater wink emoticon
Daniel died suddenly of complications from a liver bleed and other health issues .
He is Survived by his children, Dylan and Emilee Rose Mattimore; parents, Christine (David) Ferrell and father Gary Mattimore, and his older sister Shannon. - His older brother Mick Mattimore passed away in 2006.
Daniels favorite saying was "Keep it Real" and he was always a true friend to those that knew him . He wouldn't want sadness in his passing, only for his friends to be true to themselves and to others. Daniels favorite song to sing was by Keith Whitley "when you say nothing at all" , and like Daniel always said, "actions speak louder than words" . We can all learn from those words and keep Daniels memory alive by Keeping it real.
